Prepares bread, rolls, muffins, pastries and biscuits according to recipe by performing the following duties.
Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake.
Prepares baked goods based on specific training received through manager and makes any necessary adjustments to control temperatures
Removes baked goods from oven and places goods on cooling rack.
Improves quality results by studying, evaluating and redesigning process; implementing changes.
Keeps supplies ready by inventorying ingredients; requisitioning supplies; verifying receipt
Keeps all equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining replacement parts inventory; performing preventative maintenance; notifying management when repairs are necessary
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of food sanitation, food safety management and multitasking preferred.
